Therm & Term Offer File

Offer Check · free, nothing saved

Check a gas offer against your own bill.

Three things in: how much gas you use, the default supply price on your bill, and the offer. Out comes the price per therm with every fee counted, the next 12 months both ways, the break-even price and what it costs to leave.

Fill in the example first

A Your gas use

Most gas bills print a 12- or 13-month usage history. Type each month, or leave the months empty and give one yearly total.

B Your default supply price

The supply price on your bill today: often called "price to compare", "gas cost", "gas supply charge" or "commodity". Supply only, not delivery. Find it with the Bill Reader.

C The offer

Copy the numbers from the offer or contract summary. A supplier's offer replaces only the supply price.

The page does the arithmetic and saves nothing. Your numbers are in the page address, so your browser history keeps them, and so does the web server's access log (see Privacy).
